Back in the day I used to purchase Lavender Pillow Spray from Bath and Body Works. I loved it and used it all the time but then we moved and we didn’t have a store near us anymore. I struggled and tried to find other products I loved just as much but never did! That is until I got smart and decided to create my own Sleep Spray.
I love making homemade products because one I know what exactly is in them and I can trust them. Of course there are many natural ways to help you get a great nights sleep but a little help never hurt.
This sleep spray uses the power of essential oils to help induce a wonderful night of sleep. There are two essential oils I use in this recipe. I love this combination and often diffuse it. The two oils are Lavender and Northern Lights Black Spruce. Let’s talk about these essential oils.
I love lavender essential oil. There are so many incredible uses for it. I make sure to always have at least one or two extra bottles laying around. I use it in many of my homemade products such as my boo boo balm, sleepy time salve, homemade acne treatment and my holy grail for summer Sunburn Relief Spray. For more information on Lavender you can do some further reading here and here.
Black spruce has a warm and woodsy scent that creates a grounding effect which makes it the perfect addition to this sleep spray. It has quickly become one of my favorite must have essential oils. You can read more about Black Spruce here and here.
