School is back in session which means things are crazy as we are figuring out the best morning routine for everyone in the family. Breakfast sometimes has to be quick for me and Mr. Viking… so enter my go to breakfast a Smoothie! They are quick, easy and oh so delicious! Plus I can make them and take them in the car with me!
I have always had trouble eating breakfast. I’ve never been a breakfast gal but I know how important is for me and my body to make sure I start my day off right. This smoothie is so quick and can be made in a matter of minutes that even I can’t say no to it. Not to mention it is healthy and oh so good for you!
This smoothie has 4 ingredients: Almond Milk, Strawberries, Spinach, and Peanut Butter! It couldn’t get much simpler, right?
Our Strawberry plants are finally producing sweet and beautiful strawberries so I couldn’t wait to make a smoothie with them! Whether you use fresh or frozen strawberries the health benefits will be the same. They will boost your immunity as they are filled with Vitamin C and antioxidants. They add a tiny bit of sweetness to this smoothie.
While a lot of people don’t like fresh spinach there is nothing to worry about in this smoothie. You will not be able to taste it at all. It is said that spinach is one of the healthiest foods in the world. I don’t know if this is necessarily true or not but it is definitely good for your body and your health. It is full of vitamins (calcium, iron, magnesium, potassium, vitamin a, and folate) making it important for every part of your body. This is a perfect way to add spinach to your diet without having to worry about the taste!
